Join our team as a Sales Development Representative, where you’ll ignite new business growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying high‑value opportunities in the industrial automation space. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, you’ll spark meaningful conversations, uncover real needs, and build a strong, reliable pipeline that fuels our sales engine. You’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Marketing to share insights, refine outreach strategies, and continuously improve results. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives on connection, loves a well‑built process, and is motivated by turning curiosity and conversation into measurable revenue momentum.

What You Get to Do:

  • Identify and engage prospective customers across manufacturing, industrial automation, OEM, and related markets.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Apollo, LinkedIn, and industry research.
  • Conduct impactful discovery calls to understand customer needs, qualify opportunities, and prepare strong handoffs for Account Executives and Sales Engineers.
  • Nurture leads, prioritize outreach, and convert high‑potential prospects into sales‑qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to share real‑time insights, refine messaging, and strengthen automated nurture programs.
  • Provide clear, thorough CRM documentation to support seamless collaboration and accurate pipeline visibility.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives by following up on event leads, aligning on pre‑ and post‑event strategy, and contributing to ROI tracking.
  • Stay sharp on industrial automation technologies—robotics, PLCs, HMIs, motion control—and understand how our solutions solve customer challenges.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • 1–3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or another customer‑facing role; B2B or industrial experience is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage prospects professionally and clearly document conversations and next steps.
  • Tech‑savvy and efficient with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and prospecting tools (Apollo, ZoomInfo, etc.), plus confidence using email, phone, and virtual meeting tools.
  • Organized, coachable, and detail‑driven, able to manage multiple priorities while staying accountable to goals.
  • Self‑motivated and proactive, comfortable in a remote, camera‑on environment with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel 10–15% domestically for trade shows, company events, and customer visits.
