Join Our Team as an Electrical Technician:
As an Electrical Technician, you will build and wire electrical control panels and support the integration, installation, testing, and debugging of advanced robotic automation systems. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable solutions by working hands-on to meet project milestones and exceed customer expectations. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work confidently with high-voltage electrical systems up to 480 V in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
What You Get to Do:
- Build and wire electrical panels, junction boxes, and control components with minimal supervision
- Assemble electrical systems from complex drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
- Install finished assemblies and subassemblies, including system setup at customer sites
- Support equipment wiring, troubleshooting, teardown, and reinstallation, both in‑house and in the field
- Collaborate with engineering to identify and document assembly or material improvements
- Plan and execute work efficiently to meet project schedules and quality standards
- Accurately complete labor tracking and documentation in the ERP system
- Follow all safety policies and electrical best practices to maintain a safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Ability to work onsite, in person at our Tipton, IN location 5 days per week.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
- Associate degree (or equivalent) from a technical or trade school, with 2+ years of hands‑on electrical experience in areas such as panel building, electrical assembly, cable routing and termination, troubleshooting, and safety circuits (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, safety rules, operating procedures, and technical documentation, and to communicate clearly through basic written reports and verbal collaboration with customers and teammates.
- Comfortable applying basic math, algebra, and geometry, and using logical reasoning to diagnose issues, interpret technical instructions, and solve complex electrical challenges.
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 79, and other applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
- Collaboration & Professionalism: Able to work effectively with peers who may have equal or greater technical expertise in a team‑oriented, respectful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams; experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Epicor is a plus. Must supply personal electrical hand tools and tool bag.
