We’re looking for an AP/AR Specialist to join our corporate team in Waukesha, WI! In this role, you’ll be a key financial partner, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while driving efficiency across accounts payable and receivable. What You Get to Do:
- Own the AP/AR process by managing invoice entry, payment processing, and reconciliation with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure financial accuracy through timely review and verification of transactions, reducing errors and improving workflow.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain strong relationships.
- Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Support month-end close activities by preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits as needed.
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to the organization, providing insights and recommendations that impact business decisions.
- Utilize technology and tools to optimize AP/AR functions and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Associate’s degree in finance or equivalent experience.
- Ability to commute to Waukesha, WI office 5 days per week
- 5+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable.
- Strong proficiency in Epicor ERP (preferred), accounting software, and advanced Excel skills (charts, graphs, pivot tables).
- Exceptional accuracy, organizational skills, and time management.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solve problems proactively, and manage priorities effectively.
