Join Our Team as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator:

Join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator and play a critical role in keeping projects moving from dock to delivery. In this hands-on position, you’ll manage incoming materials and deliveries with precision—accurately receiving, labeling by job, and staging materials in the correct locations—while also processing and tracking all outgoing shipments. You’ll proactively expedite parts as needed, maintain inventory and records across office systems, coordinate with vendors, and ensure all materials are in place ahead of assembly start. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you’ll help create a smooth flow of materials, support on-time builds, and foster a collaborative, team‑focused work environment.

What You Get to Do:

  • Own the end‑to‑end flow of materials, from receiving and verification through staging, shipping, and final delivery
  • Build expertise in ERP‑driven logistics by accurately processing receipts, inventory, and shipments in Epicor
  • Play a key role in keeping production on schedule by prioritizing, expediting, and coordinating deliveries with vendors and carriers
  • Gain hands‑on experience with LTL, local freight, and custom shipping solutions, ensuring parts arrive safely and on time
  • Partner cross‑functionally to support manufacturing, assembly, and finishing operations, including vendor‑managed services
  • Strengthen vendor relationships by managing returns, credits, RGAs, and external processing logistics
  • Contribute to inventory accuracy and continuous improvement, supporting audits, reporting, and material movement
  • Take ownership of facility logistics and sustainability efforts, including waste, recycling, and disposal coordination
  • Grow your impact by supporting evolving needs and special projects as the business scales
  • Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Willing to commute to Tipton, IN to be onsite, in person 5 days per week
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with 2–5 years of hands‑on shipping & receiving experience (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred)
  • Proven ability to accurately receive, track, and process materials using inventory or ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus)
  • Comfortable working with numbers and measurements, including quantities, percentages, dimensions, weights, and basic calculations
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, able to follow written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions
  • Clear, professional communicator who works effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams, handling issues and priorities efficiently
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable, with a strong focus on deadlines, accuracy, and teamwork
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain forklift certification
