Join our team as a Purchasing Agent and play a pivotal role in keeping our operations moving. In this fast-paced, detail-driven role, you’ll manage purchasing from end to end—placing and processing orders, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring products arrive on time. You’ll keep our records and systems running smoothly while collaborating closely with teams across the company to build strong partnerships and support a seamless workflow. What You Get to Do:
- Manage purchasing activities, including preparing and entering purchase orders, returns, and related documentation.
- Evaluate purchasing needs to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain information, resolve issues, and process returns.
- Track and report monthly cost‑savings efforts toward a 5%+ annual goal.
- Monitor open orders, update systems, and ensure accurate records.
- Support spare parts and inventory management, including follow‑up on overdue orders.
- Partner with accounting to resolve inventory and invoicing discrepancies.
- Maintain organized purchasing and inventory files.
- Provide backup support for shipping/receiving and incoming calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of purchasing experience.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and present information clearly.
- Solid math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and basic algebraic concepts.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions.
- High proficiency in computer use, attention to detail, and strong proofreading skills.
- Reliable organization, time‑management skills, and commitment to teamwork.
