Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer:

Join our team as an Electrical Engineer and contribute directly to the design, execution, and delivery of complex electrical projects from concept through completion. In this role, you’ll support project planning, develop and review electrical designs, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and help ensure projects meet technical requirements, schedules, and budget targets. You’ll work hands‑on with hardware, drawings, and documentation while identifying risks, resolving technical issues, and supporting installation and commissioning efforts.

What You Get to Do:

  • Design real-world electrical controls for robotic and automated systems, from concept through build and commissioning.
  • Develop electrical standards and best practices, contributing to continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Own electrical design execution—select components, create documentation, support purchasing, and manage cost and schedule targets.
  • Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems both internally and at customer sites, gaining valuable field experience.
  • Design and implement integrated safety systems that meet current standards, including task‑based risk assessments.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and project teams to deliver successful projects.
  • Participate in project meetings and design reviews, building confidence communicating technical decisions and solutions.
  • Influence product and process improvements by contributing ideas that enhance performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
  • Support proposals and quotations, learning how engineering decisions impact scope, feasibility, and profitability.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Willing to commute to Council Bluffs, IA to be onsite, in person 4-5 days per week
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 7+ years of experience designing automation or industrial systems similar to robotic or integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Automation & Electrical Design: 7+ years working with automation systems, including electrical system design, component integration, and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Design Tools: 5+ years of recent experience using AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics and documentation.
  • Technical Analysis & Math: Comfortable applying basic algebra and geometry, calculating measurements, percentages, and volumes, and interpreting complex technical diagrams and instructions.
  • Testing & Safety Knowledge: Hands-on experience using electrical test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) with working knowledge of Arc Flash safety practices.
  • Project & Computer Skills: Proficient with PC-based tools for project tracking, scheduling, documentation, and basic financial or cost tracking.
  • Communication, Problem Solving & Organization: Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, define and solve technical problems, document work clearly, and communicate effectively with customers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams.
