Join Our Team as an Electrical Assembly Technician:
Join our team as an Electrical Assembly Technician and play a hands-on role in building the systems that power modern industrial automation and robotics. In this role, you’ll assemble and inspect complex electrical components and sub‑assemblies, ensuring each build meets precise production and quality standards. You’ll interpret blueprints, diagrams, schedules, and written or verbal instructions, using a wide range of hand tools, machines, and electrical components to create high‑quality assemblies that integrate directly into advanced automated and robotic systems. What You Bring to the Team:
- Willing to commute to Council Bluffs, IA to be onsite 4-5 days per week
- Education / Experience: Associate degree (A.A.S.) or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 3+ years as a panel builder or electrical technician (robotic systems integrator experience preferred).
- Electrical & Controls Expertise: Hands-on experience with panel building, electrical assembly, cable routing/termination, troubleshooting, safety circuit design, and risk assessment; working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL 508A, RIA 15.06, and related electrical codes.
- Technical Tools & Software: Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with Adobe; AutoCAD Electrical and Epicor experience is a plus.
- Technical Comprehension & Problem Solving: Able to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, procedures, and safety documentation; solve problems using basic algebra, geometry, measurements (percentages, area, volume), and structured troubleshooting.
- Communication & Collaboration: Can clearly document work, write routine reports, and communicate technical information to coworkers and customers; comfortable working independently and in team settings.
- Licenses, Tools & Physical Requirements: Able to safely operate job-specific equipment and hand tools; required to wear steel-toe safety boots.
- Training & Travel: Willing to complete all required internal training, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out; some travel required.
